Finally Back on Again!

Ugh, finally!  I was unable to post in the previous lessons because of problems being able to access my blog.  Maybe I should have just stuck with Blogger for this.  In any event, I’ve pretty much gotten all of the lessons thus far, plus I have the basic layout of my site.  The only problem now is just getting my site to look right.  First, I’m still having a bit of disconnect with pixel size.  I’m still having trouble visualizing like, say, a box in my mind and then connecting that with x number of pixels in size and distance from the header.  I really don’t want to use percentages for sizing and distance purposes.  Second, I’m also having trouble finding the right background images to use for tiles on my site.  I suppose I’ll just have to keep looking.
